ASUS MS228H 21.5-Inch LED Monitor Black – Buy Or Not Buy?

ASUS MS228H 21.5-Inch LED Monitor – Black is a good LED monitor that I picked up at under $200. The colours are crisp, display inputs are HDMI and VGA and comes included with a VGA cable and a DVI to HDMI cable. This leaves connectivity options. Furthermore, it comes with an AUDIO OUT mini jack something which isn’t quite typical. It’s more common for AUDIO IN and built-in speakers. Even though this seems convenient, the speakers will almost always be low quality in my opinion therefore it is great to achieve the option to have them output to the source you desire whether it be headphones or speakers.

The touch sensitive controls on ASUS MS228H 21.5-Inch LED Monitor – Black are really easy to use, however, I am a fan of tactile feedback. This can be a minor complaint. The main one We have will be the stand it uses. Most monitors offer a direct flat view, but this one makes it tilt back slightly. This is problematic in virtually many situations if you don’t sit in the viewing angle slightly above the Asus LED monitor.

All-in-all if you can pick it up for approximately the purchase price that we did I really believe it is worth it especially if you are upgrading from a classic CRT because it is exactly what Used to do. I picked up being a gift for my dad who had an aging CRT which was flickering increasingly more each day and on its way out. The screen real-estate, resolution, and eye stress reliever is enough to justify the price.

Note: as they are it does require adjustments just like most monitors since they’re normally default on max brightness settings which can potentially shorten the life span expectancy of the monitor in addition to be harder about the eyes due to how bright it really is.
